OGDC: More confident on future growth
Following earlier-than-expected completion of the key FY12 project in Kunnar-Passaki Deep (KPD) despite flood-related issues, our confidence in OGDC’s FY12 volume (10%) and earnings (46%) growth has lifted.
We believe OGDC is poised to deliver double-digit volume growth in FY12 and should enjoy a three-year volume CAGR of 16%.
We see positive exploration news flow ahead from high-profile drilling in Zin and appraisal drilling in Nashpa and Makori East.
We estimate 1Q earnings of PRs4.7/share, up 22% YoY (22% of our FY12E EPS). We believe strong 1Q earnings coupled with clarity on FY12 volume growth may lead to consensus earnings upgrades.

(10%) and earnings (46%) growth has increased. Furthermore, the cash flow position remains
comfortable and should translate into a strong cash dividend in FY12. We maintain our 20%
above consensus FY12 earnings estimates and reiterate our Buy rating on OGDC with a PO of
PRs168.34.
