KSE-100 Index recovers 176 points, Friday

KARACHI: Buoyant trade activity was witnessed at Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) on Friday as the benchmark KSE-100 Index witnessed recovery of 176 points to close at 7,146. The share market opened upbeat and witnessed buying throughout the two sessions. Trade volume was recorded at 200 million shares. Pak PTA was led the volume leaders which gained paisas 67 to close at Rs3.66. Market analysts say the positive activity will continue in the share market in the coming week.
